June 8: Warcraft
Your teenagers are gonna love this one - the massively popular video game series gets the cinematic treatment in what its producers are hoping will be the next great fantasy franchise. A decade in the making, Warcraft explores the conflict between orcs and humans. Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) stars as the honorable orc leader Durotan leading his people from their dying world of Draenor to the world of Azeroth. However, Travis Fimmel (Vikings) stars as Anduin Lothar, leader of the humans fearing the sudden arrival of these fierce orc invaders.
June 9: Kids Magic Show
This is a magic show great for both kids and adults to enjoy. Come and watch Magician Q transport himself into a world of magic and compete with Evil Knight for a magic gem. The show will be both in English and Chinese and suitable for children age 4 and above.

June 9-11: Shanghai Auto Expo
If you and your kids share a love for cars, this event is for you this weekend. This massive celebration of everything cars will have a main theme of electric vehicles. With Tesla changing the game and upping the China release date of its Model X to the end of this month rather than early 2017, it’s wholly appropriate. As always, expect car show models to be out in full force.

June 10: ICONX Sport Complex Family Day
Calling all young skateboarders! ICONX is hosting a family day including a skateboarding demo class, skateboard competition, live music and a DIY skateboard painting studio. Dopamine Music Club and IV Surfing will also make an appearance on the day and assist in activities. They are also offering a 10% discount on the day for kids who join as new members.

June 10: Hockey Night in Shanghai
As part of the Shanghai Youth Hockey Festival, this exhibition game pits the best hockey players in Shanghai against each other. After representing the city in January’s 13th Chinese National Winter Games, Team Shanghai will take on Team World – comprised of some of the finest players in the Shanghai Ice Hockey League. Wear black if you’re Team Shanghai, or white if you’re Team World.
