Over the weekend, roughly 100 children put on a flash mob at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and expressed their love of the country through famous songs, reports Shine.
The kids are all members of the Little Companion Art Troupe of the China Welfare Institute Children's Palace. Founded by Soong Ching-ling, honorary chairwoman of the People's Republic of China, the art troupe is one of the most prominent in China.
At 9am on Saturday, the sound of violins, flutes and drums suddenly filled the airport’s central hall. The flash mob of kids showed up in every corner, waving national flags and donning red scarves around their necks.

Together they performed three songs: ‘Let's Row Our Boats,’ ‘We are the Successors of Communism,’ and ‘My Country and I.’ The melodies are so familiar to residents and tourists that it didn’t take long for onlookers to stop and sing along as the children handed out flags and red scarves. The flash mob culminated with everybody shouting, “I love you, China!”

This is not the first flash mob held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the People's Republic of China. A string of flash mobs were held in the last few months at various landmarks around Shanghai, including Jinshan Urban Beach, Nanjing Lu and the Site of the First National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party.
