Have you ever wondered how different climates and soils affect the taste of wine? Wine & The City along with Ginger Modern Asian Bistro invites you to find out. On November 20, they will be hosting a wine social with none other than Irene Paiva of Vistamar Winery, one of Chile’s most celebrated winemakers.
Irene is as a top-four winemaker in Chile known as one of the country’s top 100 women leaders. Over dinner, Irene will talk about her passion for wine and will share just how differences in climate and soil can lead to differing tastes.

Of course, it’s only fair to let you try the wines discussed. So, while you enjoy your delicious dinner of, say, a grass-fed Australian sirloin or roasted herb chicken, you can experience first-hand the differences in the taste of wines according to their terroir. You will be able to use your newfound knowledge to pinpoint why you prefer the Cachapoal Andes Valley Carmenere to a Maipo Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah or vice versa.

The dessert course is a particularly intriguing example of Ginger's signature East-West style. How could you turn down white miso chocolate mousse, salted caramel and baked almond powder or coconut sago and pandan ice cream with a syrupy late harvest Moscatel?
There are only 20 seats available, and Irene doesn't come to Asia often. Hurry up and get your tickets for this exclusive dinner today!
