According to The Paper, a customer recently shot a disturbing video at the Skymall branch of Burger King. The video shows a cockroach crawling along the kitchen’s food shelves. Shockingly, the staff working at the fast food restaurant paid no mind to the giant insect and continued fetching food for customers.

After the video went viral, one of the employees who works at the branch spoke with The Paper. “Our clerks were absorbed in preparing food for our customers so they didn’t notice the pest,” explained the staff member. “We have a professional pest control service clean and sterilize our place every month. In the wake of the incident, we have asked them to come again to exterminate the cockroaches.”
Despite the explanation, some netizens are disgusted by the video and swear they will never go to that branch again. Other netizens are much more understanding about the situation, saying the pest problem is common at diners and restaurants.
“This is a losing battle,” commented one netizen. “There is no way we human beings can defeat cockroaches.”
“To those who will never dine at Burger King again, what would you do if these creatures appeared at your own residence? [Would you sell] your house?” said another.
