Shanghai officially released a blue warning for cold wave at 5pm this evening. Temperatures are expected to plunge 7-9 degrees Celsius over the next 48 hours.
According to the Shanghai Central Meteorological Observatory, the cold spell is a result of a blast of cold air from the north. Expect things to get frigid starting tomorrow morning as the temperature will drop by 7-9 degree Celsius over the next 48 hours.
According to The Weather Channel, the city will experience a low of -1 degrees Celsius tomorrow and a low of 2 degrees Celsius on Friday.
