Yet another typhoon has passed, which means Shanghai’s brutal summer heat is back. We’re sorry to report that there’s not going to be any repreive from these high temps anytime soon because a heat wave will smother the city all week long, Shine reports.
At the time of writing it’s a sweltering 37 degrees Celcius outside. The good news is that it won’t get quite that hot again this week. The bad news is that highs will hover around 35 degrees through Sunday.

Thunderstorms and rain showers should help keep us slightly cooler today. However, things will likely stay sunny and dry for the rest of the week, so brace yourselves.
Perhaps this is a good week to have a pool day… or seven.
