Things are going to start getting really wet in Shanghai. Not only is rain in the forecast for the next few days, but plum rain season is expected to start this week, Shine reports.
The rain will arrive today but expect much heavier downpours from Wednesday to Friday. Temperatures are also expected to rise to 32 degrees on Sunday.

With all this rain, it is expected that the East Asian rainy season or meiyu (literally plum rains) will start this week. The plum rain season usually lasts for three weeks. However, this year’s rains are expected to last much longer.
