Jun 15-18: The Painted Garden
Teatro di Piazza o d'Occasione (TPO) is a one-of-a-kind Italian interactive performance created by Francesco Gandi and Davide Venturini. Melding classical stage techniques with digital graphics and sensor manipulation, TPO is dedicated to creating astonishing productions. The Painted Garden is a part of TPO's Garden Trilogy. The performance is based on several images of gardens: Garden of Earth, the Garden of Water, the Garden of Leaves and the Garden of Love. All children are encouraged to explore these natural elements and indulge in the fantasy adventure.

Jun 16-18: The Ugly Duckling
In conjunction with Corbian Visual Arts and Dance, Lightwire Theater has adapted the classic animal tale of The Ugly Duckling into a special show of electroluminescent stage puppetry. This mesmerizing show has been touring nationwide in the US since the beginning of 2012, bringing together cutting-edge technology, moving sculptures and dance to create an unforgettable theatrical experience.

Jun 17-18: Commune Market
By hand-selecting vendors and introducing previously-undiscovered artisans and innovators, Commune Market is creating a community that celebrates all things local and unique. This month, CM spotlights the historical shikumen (Stone Warehouse Gate) at Taixing Square in the bustling area of West Nanjing Lu and Taixing Lu. Since 1885, Zhang Garden at Taixing Square has been a mecca for various activities, from community events and public speeches to art exhibitions and some of Shanghai's most extravagant parties. This weekend, over 50 of Shanghai's best local designers, gourmands, craft beer visionaries, musicians and artists will congregate at this open-air courtyard square.

Jun 18: Biker's Club Father's Day BBQ Brunch at The Brew

Jun 18: Cowboy Father's Day Buffet Brunch at The Cook
