DreamWeaver’s adaptation of the musical classic is back on and now at On Stage. Featuring music and new lyrics from the Grammy and Oscar-winning composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked), Godspell boasts a casts of Shanghai-based musical theater veterans like Kevin Maxim.

Modern Sky has announced the return of their annual May holiday music festival to Shanghai. Past editions have featured international acts like Disclosure, Carley Rae Jepsen, The Hives, Justice and Explosions in the Sky. The longstanding festival returns to Tai Lake with three days of music and camping. The line-up so far includes a mix of Chinese and international bands that span the gamut of genres, like Wang Wen, Dragonforce, Second Hand Rose, Whitechapel and Lescop.
