Thirteen students at Guangzhou Nanfang International School wrote their final IGCSE examinations in June 2015. After a two-year course, many countless hours of studying and continued teaching and support from dedicated staff, students were able to achieve wonderful results. They achieved 33 distinctions (attaining an A or A*). In a combined total, they wrote exams in 21 different subjects, including First Language Arabic, English, Chinese, Korean and Russian. Several of their students were able to engage in a self-study language, whereby exams were written in Urdu as a Second Language, Foreign Language French and Spanish. Current student Syed Muhammed Wajeh gained the Highest Achievement Award for Second Language (Urdu) in Asia, presented to him during the China ceremony for Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards, held on October 21. GNIS is proud of their success and wishes all their graduates a bright future.
