Have you ever dreamed of eating a Mickey-Mouse-shaped Peking Duck pizza? Just desperate for macaroons with Disney characters printed on them? Shanghai Disneyland is making all your dreams come true with the release of their new food menu. The menu, which combines elements of traditional Disney shapes and Shanghai cuisine, will supposedly feed the hungry masses at the Disney Resort, but if these pictures are anything to go by… well, let's just say people might be packing their own snacks for the day.
The food appears quite grim. About as grim as Donald Duck without a head on these Donald Duck waffles.
If the waffles and pizza wasn’t enough for you, you can always turn to a classic dish of shrimp and scrambled eggs — topped with rice in the shape of a Mickey Mouse head, and placed in a Mickey-shaped plate. Not only does the plate feature an oriental hat of some sort, there are also apple slices for an added health benefit.
Shanghai Disneyland is also giving you an upgraded version of ‘hong shao rou’, featuring little roses of bok choy, and, once again, the meat is served in the shape of a Mickey Mouse head.
We were wondering just how far they could take this Mickey Mouse craze, until Xinhua reported that there will be a Mickey Mouse meat mooncake.
Hopefully, these won’t be the only dishes served at the park’s multiple ‘dining experiences.’
