Although this event isn't one for the kids, it's a great opportunity for working parents to learn more about leadership and grow in your career. Meet and network with China’s top female leaders, featuring dynamic speakers and innovative workshops exploring this year’s theme: Embracing the Changing Nature of Leadership: A Roadmap to Success.The IPWS Leadership Summit will also feature China’s longest-running international awards recognising women - the Women Leadership Awards, now in it’s 10th year.

May 28: River of Hearts Sorting Party
For 13 years, this Community Center Shanghai outreach program has distributed donated goods to people in need. Be among 200 volunteers to sort, pack and load donation boxes to be distributed this summer. RSVP on the website.

May 28: More Than Aware Family Fun Run
The Shanghai based breast cancer awareness organization’s family fun run returns. There are 2K and 5K options with proceeds going to the Shanghai Cancer Recovery Club (SCRC). Children under 5 can take part for free and registration closes on May 21 or when tickets sell out.

May 28: International Children’s Day @ Paulaner
Known for their recurring family-friendly parties, Paulaner (Fenyang Lu) celebrates International Children’s Day with a laughter-filled day. Special games and activities like wheel races and kid’s movies will keep the little ones busy, with a bouncy castle to be set up depending on the weather. As always, there will be an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring Bavarian favorites and other international fare, as well as plenty of treats for the kids.

May 29: Market on the Bund X Shanghai Sunrise
The rooftop of the Eight Art Hotel hosts 40 vendors offering tasty food, unique gifts and plenty of kids activities. Make sure to be generous – proceeds will go to Shanghai Sunrise, who help sponsor education for those in need across the country.
