New York actress Amy Kersten (Venus in Furs) returns to Shanghai in Urban Aphrodite's production of Patrick Barlow's hit comedic take on the Hitchock classic. Kersten will be one of the four actors tasked with bringing the entire 1935 spy classic to life in this show of big accents and bigger physical comedy. Apr 22: The Huntsman: Winter’s War
This sequel to the 2012 hit Snow White and the Huntsman ditches Snow White for a new adventure focusing on Chris Hemsworth’s returning Eric the Huntsman. However, Charlize Theron’s evil queen looms from her past terrors against her younger sister (Emily Blunt) and an ingenious plot to make her return after death. In theaters nationwide on April 22.

Apr 23: Kiddies Fairy Tale @ Paulaner
Paulaner Brauhaus on Fenyang Lu will transform its playground into a fantasy world. Elves, princesses, dwarves and other curious characters will greet guests with activities like face painting and DIY clowning set-up for children and the young at heart. Parents can sit back and enjoy an all-you-can eat buffet spread of Bavarian and international food with RMB60 specials on 0.5L of Paulaner beer.

Apr 23: Book & Roses Festival
Originating from Barcelona, the Sant Jordi (Books&Roses) Festival bring together World Book Day and Valentine’s in Jing’an Park. Two stages will be set up providing live music and literary talks, while on-site activities include all-day-long kids activities and plenty of artists corners. Libraries, bookstores and printing houses will be on site, with thousands of roses set across Jing’an Park. Also lots of Catalan tapas and beer followed by a rumba afterparty at Cabra. Kick the Gong Around takes over the third floor of the former slaughterhouse-turned-Hongkou creative hub 1933 for its sixth grand bazaar.
