Congratulations to Year 13 students from The British International School Shanghai, Pudong who have received their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diplomas and achieved the best results ever for the school.
This year’s cohort achieved an impressive Average Point Score (APS) of 34, placing the school among the leading IB schools worldwide. Principal Mr Patrick Horne welcomed the results, the best in the school’s history, saying,
“This is an excellent set of results,the culmination of many years of hard work by the students and teachers at BISS Pudong. The strong average score represents not only impressive individual results, but also a high degree of achievement across the whole year group.”
With a score of 42, Laura Nikodem achieved the highest result and will take her place at the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), University of London. Laura will be joined at LSE by classmate You Na Park who scored 41 and confirmed her unconditional offer from the university. Both students achieved the highest possible grade of 7 in each of their three Higher Level subjects.
