For the second year in a row, Shanghai American School (SAS) has earned the honor of being home to one of the World’s 100 most innovative education programs, according to global education nonprofit HundrED. Innovation Institute beat out entries from 36 countries.
Innovation Institute, one of SAS’ Signature Programs, earned the honor. Innovation Institute is a two-year program that weaves four different disciplines to fuel project-based learning, helping students to become deeply critical thinkers with cutting-edge skills to navigate and lead in modern society.
“The Innovation Institute is one example of how Shanghai American School is helping our students prepare for an ever-changing world,” said Marcel Gauthier. “This is the second year in a row one of our Signature Programs has earned this honor, a reminder how committed we are to continuous innovation in order to provide the very best education in Shanghai.”
SAS received the same accolades in 2017 for another Signature Program, Microcampus.
