Recently, a pair of Bengal tigers have given birth to quadruplets and the Shanghai Zoo is inviting the public to name them, reports Shine.
The parents of the quadruplets, named Yun Yun and Nan Nan, came to Shanghai two years ago as gifts from southwest China's Yunnan province (hence their names). The tiger cubs made their Shanghai debut on July 29, which is also International Tiger Day.

The set of quadruplets, consisting of two males and two females, were safely delivered on July 20. As expected, Nan Nan is very protective of her cubs, evident by her gentle eyes locked on their every move.

The four cubs are currently enjoying good health, with the lightest weighing 2,930 grams and the heaviest coming in at 3,660 grams. Although it's still tricky for their feeder to tell these 'big cats' apart, small differences in their characteristics have started to appear. For example, one of the cubs is more expressive and enjoys showing off newly-acquired skills, while another one seems to prefer quiet time in the corner.

Nan Nan and her babies are set to appear in public, once they are fully weaned. Citizens can now suggest names for these lovely felines via Shanghai Zoo's official WeChat before August 30.
