The happiest place on earth is certainly doing what it can to earn its name, with a fantastic deal on children’s tickets announced this week. From August 20-31, kids will pay an insanely-reduced price of RMB1 for entry into Shanghai Disney Resort. But there is a catch, as their promotion only applies to kids between 1-1.4 meters in height.
You may remember this ‘height’ bracket recently bringing the park under fire. In June, a lawsuit was filed against Shanghai Disney after a tall 10-year-old boy was refused entry, because he exceeded the 1.4-meter restriction.

For now, while the height policy remains, parents with children between 1-1.4 meters can rejoice in paying RMB1 for entry. Use your visit to explore the recently opened Toy Story Land. This new themed world brings Woody, Buzz Lightyear and all their friends to entertain the little ones, with a range of fun rides, Al’s Toy Barn and the Toy Box Café.
Book your RMB1 tickets now via the official Shanghahi Disney Resort website and hope for manageable crowds on the day.
