Disney fans rejoice. You now have one more reason to visit the ever-popular Shanghai Disney Resort. On July 9, the resort launched its new attraction, a giant inflatable ‘sculpture’ of none other than the fan-favorite Donald Duck, according to Kankanews.

Floating on the Wishing Star Lake inside Shanghai Disney Resort, the rubber Donald Duck has a height of 11 meters (36 feet), outsizing a three-story building. It is the largest Donald Duck installation in the world, said Kankanews.

Without a doubt, it didn't take long for the Disney mascot to capture the hearts of citizens and tourists alike. Visitors have been rushing to the resort to take photos with their favorite childhood character, even though it only made its debut two days ago.

This summer is not the first time the city has been ‘taken over’ by a colossal duck. Back in 2014, Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman’s Rubber Duck in Century Park attracted over 500 thousand people.

Since the giant Donald Duck is located in Disneytown, which is outside the Disneyland Park, tourists can see the attraction without purchasing tickets. The inflatable Donald Duck will be present throughout summer, says Shine.
If taking photos with Donald Duck isn’t enough for you, you can also sign up for the Disney Inspiration Run this September, where you can see the resort in a fun way while all the classic characters will cheer you on from the sidelines.
