The K11 affiliated contemporary art festival returns with a focus on the intersection between the art world and other industries in Take Me Out. Once again, there will be showings devoted to the finalists in the open Blast competition encouraging anyone to submit video and audio art, as well as City Art tours taking guests to the city’s art hubs like m50 and the West Bund. Sep 15: A Midsummer Night's Dreaming Under the Southern Bough
This cross-cultural theater experiment brings students from Leeds University performing their take of Tang Xianzu’s Dreaming Under the Southern Bough while students at Beijing’s UIBE present their take on the Bard’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Performances in English and Chinese

Sep 15-17: Mid-Autumn Festival
The season is changing which means this month it's double public holidays! This year, we'll be getting Thursday, September 15 to Saturday, September 17 off before having to head back to work on the Sunday, plus the big October holiday will take place from October 1-7. Sep 16-17: D1 Grand Prix - Shanghai Drift
The Shanghai stop of this global drift competition arrives to Lyceum Theatre. Memorably captured in Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, drift racing refers to a method where drivers point their wheels in opposite direction to the turn while maintaining their regular speed. Besides the exquisite movements, drift racing is credited as being a test of the driver’s abilities rather than the power of their vehicles.

Sep 17: Global Run Shanghai
Run for a good cause as this 5K or 10K will help raise funds to benefit the Amazing Maasai Girls Project - an initiative to provide educational opportunities for girls in Kenya’s Maasai community.
