Aug 11: The Wilten Boys Choir
Pudong Shangri-La East Shanghai presents one of the world’s most respected and oldest boys choir. Following their concert, guests can enjoy a sumptuous buffet from 7.10-9pm. Often described as the Japanese version of Stomp, Tammakko-Za has thrilled crowds all over the world with its mix of traditional drums and storytelling with modern humor and creativity.

Aug 14: Song of the Sea
After a couple months reserved for Mainland made blockbusters, China’s cinemas are welcoming back foreign films with big budget films like Jason Bourne coming soon. On the more low-key end is this acclaimed animated fantasy drama by Tomm Moore, who crafted The Secret of Kells. Despite its limited release, Song of the Sea has won wide rave reviews including an Academy Award nomination with the 2014 film slowly making its ways to cinemas around the world.
