The time for face-kinis is just around the corner.
Here are some women in QIngdao, Shandong province enjoying their time in the sun wearing 'face bikinis' to protect themselves from UV rays.
Face bikinis are a common sight in China, where people at the beach are far more likely to be desperately trying to avoid the sun, rather than trying for a tan.
"I'm afraid of getting dark," one woman told the New York Times in 2012. "A woman should always have fair skin. Otherwise people will think you’re a peasant."
