Guided by reader feedback, we have worked to create a new web platform that is the ultimate one-stop lifestyle companion for families living in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, which also includes a full customizable School Directory.
From your phone to your tablet to your desktop, our new design gives you a consistent experience wherever you may be. Our responsive design utilizes the latest in HTML5 technology, allowing you to easily consume our content on your mobile phone or other device.
In addition, we’ve rolled out some exciting new features, including a photo galleries section where you can browse through the city’s hottest community events. Our most exciting new feature is our School Directory which offers customizable school pages with a number of new features for you to add more information about your institution. These include a School News section, a slideshow with up to 50 photos, wallpaper background and customizable information tabs, where you can let people know more about your curriculum, admissions, mission and more!
Our main goals with the urban-family.com redesign were to improve the user experience, increase site performance and create a website that works seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes. In addition, we have connected our events and listings directory to our sister publication at Thatsmags.com, allowing families to get a comprehensive look at events, entertainment, and dining options.
