On Saturday, September 19, over 100 athletically inclined parents and children gathered at Nanshan’s Shenwai International School for the first edition of the Urban Family Sports Day in Shenzhen. Families enjoyed the time together while participating in a variety of sports activities. Children above five years of age played games provided by Soccer Rangers™, Five-Star Sports, GolfJoy and Skyway Football. Children four years and younger worked with coaches from UP Children to play a variety of games. After working up a healthy appetite, attendees bought food from onsite vendors Nogogo Online Groceries, HH Gourmet, Maison Delice and Loft Eatalicious and all sipped complimentary Vittel Water. Captivating International, the event charity partner, raised RMB2,655 during the event. Among the other sponsors were Vista-SK International Medical Center, CO-TALK Chinese School, UBER and HarMoniCare Shenzhen Women & Children’s Hospital, who provided interactive activities at their booths and gave away gifts to the families.
