Looking for the newest afternoon tea experience in town? Grab a friend or two and head to the Andaz in Xintiandi where pastry chef Jeff Zhu has just launched their new menu of tea time treats, available between 2.30pm and 5.30pm.
Their spread includes traditional favorites like freshly baked scones with clotted cream, mini éclairs, finger sandwiches, and also some desserts with a more Chinese influence like bean curd cheesecake, almond and lotus pastries and a rotating seasonal selection of cakes.
Centrally located with a laid back atmosphere this is an ideal place to meet with friends and family. Their couches are deceivingly comfortable and you may find yourself whiling away an entire afternoon!
