One hundred pandas made from bamboo were put on display at Shanghai's Jing'an Kerry Centre on Monday to raise public awareness of environmental protection.
Crafted by Danish artist Josh Yick, the troupe will stay there until June 8, when they'll be shipped off to another 31 cities across China.
While 1,600 pandas live in the wild in China, by the end of 2013 there were only 376 captive-bred giant pandas around the world. 42 of the 49 panda cubs born last year survived, a record number for giant panda breeding.
