You've probably heard of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), but did you know there's also a Women's Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA)?
For those of you not familiar with the league, it represents the highest level of women's basketball in China. Since it was first established in 2002, the professional women's league has hosted several local and international big-name talents, including American WNBA superstar Maya Moore and former captain of the China national women's basketball team Shao Ting. Several WCBA players have gone on to compete in major tournaments such as the Olympic Games and FIBA World Championship.
The WCBA officially kicked off its 2018-2019 season earlier this month with a game between Xinjiang and Heilongjiang. Now in its 18th season, the WCBA boasts 18 teams, up from 14 last year.

The regular season will run until January 19. The All-Star Games will take place on the weekend of January 26-27, followed by the WCBA playoffs and championship game.
To make it easier for everyone to watch the regular season games and support Shanghai Baoshan Dahua, Adriana Sports has created a WeChat group. All basketball fans are encouraged to join the group for game updates, live game broadcasts and more! Interested in joining the group? Scan the QR code below for more information about it:
