Congratulation to Liu Jian and the team at Hand in Hand. Over the past two months, the footsteps of their International Children’s Music Festivals have covered nine cities throughout China. Wherever they went, they brought the excitement of live music for kids of all ages.
Take a look at the Shanghai event where families attended in droves, choosing to stay well after the show had finished for the opportunity of a photo with the artists.
Without a doubt, the performances were an immense success. Parents and their little ones not only watched the engaging and energetic live music but also became a part of the show themselves. It didn't take long for everyone to leave their seats and dance with the rhythm, with some children making it on stage to interact with the bands.
Founded by Liu Jian and his wife, American journalist Rebecca Kanthor, Hand in Hand International Children's Music Festival brings the best bands for kids from around the world, to tour China. The festivals, which started in 2017, have already become one of the best music festivals in China for children. In addition to the strict controls over music volume and performance duration, there is also a nursing room and diaper changing room at each event.
Each year, Hand in Hand International Children's Music Festival run on three family-friendly festivals across the country.
