Jun 1-3: Shadow Play – Mulan
Shanghai Puppet Theater is staging a new multimedia shadow play production of the timeless fable Mulan. The story of Hua Mulan, a girl who disguises herself as a man and goes to war in place of her elderly father, has been adapted into numerous films and television works. This new shadow play version of the beloved story includes stunning sets, sentimental music and fantasy elements that breathe fresh life into an age-old art form.

Jun 2: Studio 5 Children’s Day
Studio 5 is organizing an incredible Children’s Day open house on June 2. Their in-house independent designer brands include kids’ decorations and clothes, women’s wear, handbags, jewelry and home décor, and they collectively invite you to the studio to celebrate. There will be activities including face painting, henna art, a craft workshop and family pictures for you and your kids to enjoy.
