With one day to go until Urban Family and That’s Shanghai take over Green City in Jinqiao for our annual Sound of Spring festival, it’s time to purchase your tickets now.
This Mother’s Day weekend, May 12-13, will bring a collaboration of music, sport and community spirit to Shanghai and you’re invited to join the fun.
An event for the whole family
Our festival will be delivered over two exciting and here are the highlights of what we have in store for you and your family.
Each day, the first 200 children (under 140 centimeters) to arrive at Sound of Spring will receive a healthy welcome gift of two New Zealand pears.
Watch Battle of the Bands
On Sunday May 13, at 12pm we will commence our exciting Battle of the Bands competition, where top musical talents from schools around Shanghai will perform to raise money for the Heart to Heart Foundation.
Indulge in a makeup tutorial
To make the day special for moms, the Calin Fashion Academy will have beauty consultants at their booth, so be sure to indulge in a little pampering.
Play our games
Throughout the entire festival, children can join our Oishi’s big boat fishing game where they fish for snacks and take home what they collect.
Join our activities
Join our outdoor target game sponsored by Nerf between 2pm-3pm each day. Families will be divided into teams and play according to various scenarios like Harry Potter and the Hunger Games, with the winners awarded Nerf products.
The action doesn't stop there. Our Muay Thai activity will begin with a Wai Kru ceremonial dance, followed by a Muay Boran performance, and finishing off with a fun, fat burning Muay Thai class for everyone to join.
With many other activities, dining options and fitness classes during our Sound of Spring festival, the whole family will be entertained. Our Mini world cup, family yoga classes, bouncy castles, interactive activities and virtual reality experiences will be waiting for you to join.
