Shaun the Sheep
Since debuting in the Academy Award-winning short A Close Shave, Shaun the Sheep has delighted fans in 180 countries with his popular titular TV show. The Wallace and Gromit spin-off is now in the spotlight again for his debut film. The unusually sharp Shaun finds himself in trouble after his shenanigans cause his farmer to get lost in the city where he suffers a bout of amnesia. Now, Shaun and his flock must venture from the farm, evade animal control and try to jog up the memories of their farmer, who has become a world-famous stylist. The family-friendly hit has already grossed nearly USD60 million worldwide and will be released in North America in August.

After moving from Shanghai to Yorkshire two years ago, Peter Hibbard is back in the city and hosting a gettogether to share an illustrated talk on some connections between his old and new homes. Hibbard is an urban planner and sociologist who devoted much of his life to researching the historic development of Shanghai and tourism in China.
