Workshop: Improving your Debating Skills
Presented by Mr David Cook, Founding Head Master from Harrow International School Shanghai. Designed for students aged 13-18.
Overview:
This interactive workshop will deliver top tips on how to advance your debating style, followed by a debate between participants.
Your host:
Harrow Shanghai is Mr Cook's third headship in China, before which he was a head in Thailand, the Middle East and England. His subject has always been History, which he studied at King's College, London and Lincoln College, Oxford. He is a published author. Before becoming a Head, David was a Housemaster, Head of History and Head of Sport at Westminster School in London. He has run debating coaching sessions in many of his schools and has also been involved in the World Scholar's Cup for a number of years, recently taking teams to Yale.
