On March 28, the international Earth Hour was celebrated at Dulwich College and in the homes of students and staff members.
Earth Hour started as a city-wide initiative in Sydney, Australia in 2007 where people turned off non-essential lights for one hour. Thanks to cooperative action taken by people from all walks of life, all over the world, Earth Hour is now the world's largest collective environmental actions. By celebrating this symbolic “lights off” hour, Earth Hour participants are sending a powerful message and saying “We want to make a difference to our future!”
The support for Earth Hour 2015 had a massive support across the College (including Ducks, Junior and Senior School). You can see more photographs of staff and students participating in Earth Hour by checking out the Green Panthers blog.
