American pop singer Ciara and rugby star Russell Wilson recently brought their three-year-old son Future Zahir and three-month-old daughter Sienna Princess to the Middle Kingdom for vacation.
They went jogging on the Bund in Shanghai, taking photos at Shanghai Disneyland with cartoon characters, shopping in Beijing’s Nanluo Guxiang, visited the Great Wall, as well as posing in ancient Chinese headdress and qipao.
The couple also brought Future and Sienna on a thrilling toboggan ride and held the baby girl in a baby sling. Having had an unforgettable time, Ciara posted the video on Instagram and wrote:
I wish I could put into words how fun this was! Going down in the toboggan at the #GreatWallOfChina with my family. Unreal!
As the video went viral, some users commented on her questionable move and expressed deep concerns for the baby:
“Omg this ain’t right with babies. Can’t believe it!” - @liltinyboo
“I would never do that with my newborn!!! Never ever!!!” - @patience01234
Others came to the singer’s defense, saying, “The baby is apparently safely strapped to her as she controlled the speed of the toboggan.” - @rachelray
“Ciara knows how to be a mother and if she felt like the simply slide ride would be harmful to her or her family, she wouldn’t have done it.” - @thediamondxhair
Is it safe to bring an infant to experience such a ‘fast and furious’ ride? Would you do that with your newborn? Let us know what you think!
