Looking to adopt a pet? Want your house to feel more like a home? Feeling a little lonely?
Give an animal the gift of a loving home. Here are some dogs and cats looking for a loving family:
Virgil - “We are moving out of China and need to find a home to this lovely male cat. His name is Virgil and he responds well to it. He is playful and affectionate. He sometimes acts like a dog and can play "fetch" and obeys to "sit" and "shake" commands. Virgil is free to a good owner. We will give his scratch board, food bowl, cat shampoo, toys and sand box/scoop with him. As an option, we also have a cat cage we are selling for 100RMB (bought new for 250RMB January 2014). If you are interested in Virgil, you are under no obligation to buy the cat cage. He is comfortable with the cage, it holds his food, water and sand box and has stayed in it for as long as 6 vacation days. If you decide to buy the cage, we will give you free the multi-day feeder and a hanging water dispenser that holds 1.5 liters. Our main goal here is to find Virgil a loving home.”

Female puppy - “I am looking for a loving home for an adorable, white, female puppy. She likes cuddling, doesn't bark, and is house trained as far as I can tell. I found her near an intersection the other day and haven't had her long.”

Vicky - "Vicky has all her necessary vaccination. She is now ready for adoption and hoping to find a loving home in Beijing. She is sweet, playful, trusting and affectionate. She loves being cuddled. Her ideal home would be a family with older children. Vicky has beautiful long white hair, she is a Turkish Angora with one yellow eye and one blue eye. She is 3-4 months old.
The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has Vicky into their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide will provide the new family with significant discounts (up to 50%) on all health examinations, vaccinations and spay surgery!
Official Vaccination Certificate: With my rabies vaccination, ICVS will issue my new family an official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g., vaccination red book) at no charge. This official vaccination red book is needed to prove that Vicky has been legally and properly vaccinated. In order to move to another city or to leave China with my family this red book is necessary."

Peanut - "Peanut was found abandoned, starving, leg broken, filthy and unloved. Immediately he was taken to a vet has since recovered. His leg is not curable but he is good tempered and fun loving. He is fully house trained, exceptionally polite and unfortunately puts some Beijingers to shame with his chivalrous nature, his winning smile, his indomitable optimism. If you are kind, loving, and willing to commit to the back breaking hardship of owning and caring for a pet in this brutal metropolis, then your mission, should you choose to accept it is here: Adopt Peanuts!"
