The death industry in China is about to become a big business.
Most of China’s population is over 65 years old and these numbers are going to grow significantly in the coming years. China's current population of 65+ year olds is over 119 million and by 2050 this number is expected to double.
As the population ages, the number of deaths is will rise to 10.4 million annually by 2015.
The death industry will grow 17% to about 100 million yuan per year, as the cost of burial and funeral services increases.
The shrinking work force is one of the major reasons behind the lift on China's one child policy.
As well as the amount of pressure the only child has in taking care of their children, their parents, their spouses parents and their grandparents.
