Have you always dreamed of having a little panda bear to snuggle? Well, your dreams have come true! Chinese pet store owners are now colouring dogs to look like a little furry panda bear. They have become so popular that some shop owners and find it hard to keep up.
A pet-shop owner in Chengdu, Hsin Ch'en claims to be the original creator the “panda bear”.
"Ten years ago the natural instinct of a Chinese person was to eat a dog. Now we are like Westerners and want one as a companion," he tells Metro UK.
It takes about two hours of cosmetic primping before the transformation is complete.There are no harmful chemicals used in the process and the dogs are not harmed in any way. However if you think your dog will stay that way, think again. Be prepared to have your panda pooch come in every six weeks for a that panda-esque touch-up.
