Pizzeria Alla Torre
Authentic Italian fare
What could be better for a child than fresh sea air, aquatic entertainment and a heaping bowl of Bolognaise? Well, maybe multivitamins and learning to share, but regardless, Sea World’s Pizzeria Alla Torre offers Shenzhen kids the good life: Italian favorites and front-row views of the water and light shows.
A simple kid’s menu makes ordering easy with classics like spaghetti alla Bolognese (RMB48) or penne pomodoro (RMB45). The more adventurous youngsters can opt for pollo alla Milanese (RMB48), a plate of chicken breast, mashed potatoes and spinach.
Mom and Dad can sip a glass of Botter Prosecco (RMB38) or choose one of many options from the wine bar on Alla Torre’s second level. Pair with an appetizer, like the insalata di bufala e pomodorini confit (RMB55), a fresh mix of tender greens, Italian ham, cluster tomatoes, red onion and buffalo mozzarella. To follow, order the prosciutto crudo pizza (RMB78/8 inch, RMB118/12 inch), topped with parma ham, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and shaved parmesan cheese.
Those who come at night should sit on either the lower or upper decks for prime seats to the water shows in Sea World’s harbor. Monday to Thursday have show times at 7pm and 8pm, while Friday and Saturday have the same show times plus one at 9pm.
